This step, this upgrade, was forced upon us: The Reference is, of course, the bigger brother of the Dark Star - with the important difference that we have doubled the floor level. Once again, we have placed our trust in the audiophile and precision mechanically highly sophisticated plastic polyoxymethylene. We achieve greater smoothness, flanked by a higher dynamic response. In addition, the platter rotates solidly and beyond any doubt in our specially developed bearing block. As massive as it looks, the Dark Star Reference is light, elegant and full of energy.
